Question: Given that books are like "knifes", which is the solution when you already have both at home and work normal open bookshelves? Is it mandatory to use instead, closed bookshelves to put books inside? Which kind of doors or arrangements are adviced?

In Feng Shui, the most important question is how much time you spent. In Feng Shui, the most important question is how much time you spent at a particular location.

The Next question asked is are there any `poison arrows' e.g. as you have mentioned, open bookshelves pointed towards say your study chair where you are sitting?

If so, under FS, the longer you spent your time there, the greater the `effects' of books as knifes.

To answer you question, although it is not mandatory for you to have closed shelves as I understand this is more practical, but one thus need to accept this FS `fact' that it will be `harmful' to a person.

Simple `alternatives' include a `pull over' cloth cover etc. For doors, it would depend on the cupboard that you had purchased and it is good that the colour matches the individuals element / room element ..i.e. it should be the same material as those.

Your Web site is a very interesting and well designed. However, I have been looking without success to answer the following questions : Given that books are like "knifes", which is the solution when you already have both at home and work normal open bookshelves? Is it mandatory to use instead, closed bookshelves to put books inside?
